About Our Space

Cable Event Center is located in The Cable Building in North Kansas City, MO a mere 5 minutes from downtown Kansas City. The event center has 5,000 square feet of open space to accommodate your event and personalized setup and décor. Our venue is a rustic industrial with a warm feel about it, the building was built in 1940 housing an industrial cable manufacturer and we have kept some of the original elements to add unique character to the space.

Our event center blends elegance, comfort, and versatility to create the perfect backdrop for life’s most important moments.

If I could I would give more than 5 stars. The communication up on to the event was great the setup was nice, staff was courteous and very helpful. The event space was everything and more affordable than all the others I’ve looked at. I’m glad I picked Cable Event Center for my wedding and ceremony. I look forward to doing business with them again. I definitely would recommend them to any and everyone

As the owner of ShutterBooth Kansas City, I had the privilege of providing photo booth services at an event this evening at Cable Event Space, and the experience from a vendor perspective was excellent. The vendor load-in process was smooth and well organized, which always makes a big difference when setting up for an event. It allowed us to get in, set up efficiently, and focus on delivering a great experience for the guests.

I recently had my engagement/Nikkah Ceremony at the Cable Event Center, and I was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The main hall has excellent acoustics and lighting, which made the performances clear and vibrant. The stage setup was professional, and every seat had a great view. The lobby area was welcoming and well-maintained, with friendly staff available to assist guests. Parking was convenient, and the security process was efficient without being overwhelming.
